That was posted June 27, 2011. Now I know that this issue has been discussed, thus we should infact be 12-1. My only issue with that at the time was that Milky Situation never finished his battle because he had to leave. Technically, he DQ'ed himself without trying too. That's besides the point. So, when I decided to revive my clan, at the time (which was a little over a month ago) I had our record set at 9-1. Kisabuza &amp; NEO GOD GOKU are also the clan leaders for MKOA. Though I created it, they also have a say in what goes on in MKOA. There was a bit of a disagreement which lead to this issue. The ROUND 2 MKOA vs STB battle. <br />
<br />
The agreement was to simply omit that loss due to the victory not being justified. At this time I want to publicly retract that and relinquish whatever issues we have cost regarding STB. I made a big deal out of nothing and YES, I am well aware of me saying on numerous occasions that we are undefeated. Though this has been established, right now, from my mouth I am saying that we are 12-1 with our only lost being to the STB Clan. What I am hoping for is a fresh start and a ROUND 3 with STB to settle whatever differences we have with one another. Also, this will end the nearly year long 1-1 tale. I had just played MK9 yesterday morning, I think.  It ran fine as usual.  A little while ago, I went to play again.  I quickly go to Practice Mode like usual, and it freezes before the character screen comes up.  I reset the Xbox.  I do the same thing only this time I actually make it to the character screen.  But it locked up again just after.  I reset again.  This time, I hesitate slightly at the Main Title screen;  I press start and it locks up during the &quot;Checking For Online Updates&quot; disclaimer.<br />
<br />
The Xbox seems to work fine itself.  No problems browsing the Dashboard and I tested an XBLA game that loaded and ran fine.  I went back to MK9 and didn't touch anything this time.  All of the credit screens came and went smooth.  The Main Title screen came out and there was no issue.  It even went into a gameplay demo and never froze.<br />
<br />
When the Main Title screen came up again, I pressed start, &quot;Checking For Online Updates&quot; came and went like normal...  then I just sat on the Main Menu and didn't touch anything.  Sure enough, in about as much time as it takes me to quickly go to Practice Mode, the game locked up again.<br />
<br />
So I'm not sure what's up.  Kind of peculiar that it seems to lock up in about the same amount of time each attempt regardless of what I do.  There is a very light superficial scratch on the disc, but I'm pretty sure that's been there for a long time.  And I have the game installed on my Xbox anyway, so that shouldn't matter, right?<br />

Any suggestions, let me know.</div>

Should be fun reminiscing about a game we've been playing for a full year. The stories should be funny lol<br />

Back Then: I used many characters : smoke, jade, kratos, ermac, kitana, mileena, rain, johnny cage, Liu Kang, kenshi, and scorpion.<br />
I swore I had the best kitana, yet I was ending combos with jk ass smash lol<br />
I CRIED spam whenever someone used a move more than twice.<br />
The 1st time I fought a Kabal that did ndc, I raged quit and sent him bate mail because I was convinced he used a cheat code or something<br />
I hated fighting Nightwolf because I didn't know how to punish the shoulder charge and I always blocked it<br />
I ended Cage combos with flip/shadow kick, mostly ex.<br />
<br />
Now: I main kitana, mileena, and a newly added Sonya. Still have a pretty good jade, sindel, cage and Liu.<br />
The word SPAM is irrelevant to me.<br />

Possess 3 important traits: can be delayed (by holding down 4), and after 23 frames of delay it can be dash canceled or special canceled (using another special move). Of special interest is the dash cancel capability allowing Rain to pressure, chip the opponent with a barrage of attacks; this will be described on greater detail in section [ 2.07 ]. <br />

It has a behavior similar to that of Cyrax's Net hitting an airborne opponent, where it drops the opponent in standing position depriving them of their wake ups. Prior to the drop Rain can control for a brief time at what height and what distance (front or behind) to drop the opponent. This move is key for Rain to reset and setup the opponent to engage in his pressure game. Whiffs if the opponent neutral crouches.<br />

From full screen can be used safely to check the opponent and somewhat zone them. Using by itself mid range inwards entails the risk of getting punished with a full combo. In combos it can auto-correct the opponent position for further juggling.<br />

This continues up until the opponent to explodes in bloody watery pieces.<br />

<br />
Rain possess a wide range of options on wake up that have already been identified in the previous sections. Here the most useful will be described.<br />
 <br />
<b>Geyser Kick</b><br />
Rain’s common wake up move. Good for sending the opponent away when they try to start pressure and to stop cross up attempts. Nevertheless, Rain can be hit out of it by some low hitting attacks. If baited it can be punished with a full combo.<br />
 <br />
<b>Aqua Splash</b><br />
A wake up rarely used despite how good it can be. Provides good invisibility to halt most pressure/rushdown approaches putting the opponent still within range for Rain’s footsies game. Punished by full combo if jumped over.<br />
 <br />
<b>Aqua-Port</b><br />
Used to get a guaranteed escape from the corner thanks to the armor and switch sides at the cost of meter.<br />
 <br />
<b>Thermal Spring</b><br />
A good substitute for Aqua-Port if its input is a hindrance in the heat of the moment.<br />
<br />
<b>Aqua Blast</b><br />
Just like Aqua-Port and Thermal Spring it helps stop opposing attacks with certainty. Though it possesses the same weakness to cross ups as the regular version. <br />
<br />
<font color="#ffa500"><b>[ 2.02 ] <font size="3">Anti-Airs</font></b></font><br />
<br />
Rain has good anti-air tools to deal with all the jump-in variations out there. Two of them lead to a combo. They are to be described next.<br />
 <br />
<b>Front Punch</b><br />
At 10 frames Rain’s standing jab attack has good enough speed to stop jumping opponents almost on reaction. The range also allows him to take a small step back before anti-airing. Leads to an easy combo punish. His de facto anti-air.<br />
 <br />
<b>Back Punch</b><br />
Even at 11 frames it works for anti-airing. Its hitbox works for jump ins done from inside sweep range. Just like Front Punch it lets Rain do a combo follow up.<br />
 <br />
<b>Crouching Front Punch</b><br />
The anti-air tool to use on reaction and to stop cross ups with the right timming. Despite the small and short hitbox, is a very good anti-air that can be linked into a combo.<br />
 <br />
<b>Geyser Kick</b><br />
Generic anti-air that requires a read to use effectively because of its 17 frames for execution. It is a poor alternative against regular jump ins because it doesn’t deal the damage Rain can dish out with an anti-air combo from his other options and puts the opponent out of Rain’s footsies. However, if used properly to stop a cross up, then it can be followed up with a combo.<br />
