the main reason is ill be moving at the end of this month. So i wouldn't be able to be there. I say move it 1 week forward or 1 week back.

Ill wait for the other votes now, We either prolong the drama a week or we end it this weekend.

The Dark Prince of Craziness has spoken and he has voted in Fub's favor for the date of Thunder Dome! Thank you Hood for your response, you are a noble leader.

Its not really my intent to write dramatically, I just kind of write on how I feel. I guess deep down I have a love for the dramatic.

I saw some other posts on this thread, and later I might give a response to those.


@Crystal- you are a good mod, and the 88's love you for that and more. Deleting posts here is not necessary, because this is a public forum, and everyone has the right to be heard, even though I might think some opinions are not relevant, as long as those who post here think their rhetoric is relevant.

I think the only chance Thunder is giving is to FUB. He fought well in all our wars and deserves a little bit of slack. He at one time was our fiercest fighter. Krypton on the other hand, I pushed to have in this clan. Against Thunders indifference, I really politic'd for this guy. He let me down. Quite a bit if you don't mind me saying. I was soft on him because I saw all this potential but never looked past his immaturity. Any shame felt from this is my doing.

Mace, you said it best brother. This guy had sooo much potential that I too, looked past his immaturity. He is a great player indeed... But there is no room in this clan for that kind of bullshit. I worked hard to push this guy and try to get him in here and he let me down.

We have a new member, please feel free to add SUPERKING12 to your friends list because he has earned a spot in our clan.

He is not a prospect anymore, but a full fledged soldier of the Crazy 88 Army. That doesn't mean we won't be keeping a close eye on him though.

@Fub-well so far only Hood has spoken on your behalf. Feel free to talk Mace and Bossette into setting your Thunder Dome match for a later date. If none of them tell me to set your date for another day, then you will be forced to fight as scheduled, and if you fail to show, Black Mamba will be awarded the win if he shows.


And so that you and Mamba will know, you both must be there at 8:00pm mountain time sharp, and both you guys won't know what time limit I'll be giving for a late arrival.

I am officialy announcing that Thunder Dome and the Crazy 88 Reunion will be taking place on 8/8/10 naturally.

August 8th, at 8:00 pm, we will be having the CrAzY 88 CLaN Reunion! So if you are active, inactive, or were an 88 in some point of your worthless gaming life, please log on to PS3. Make sure you have me on your friends list: Crazy_Thunder_88, so that I can invite you into the PS3 private chatroom easily. If we have too many people, I'll give Hood permission to open another chatroom. So even if you don't want to dust off/ or rent MKvsDC, we can still chit chat and reminesce (<--did I spell that correctly?).

Its completely at Thunders discretion. Being the leader he, can fast track anyone he deems worthy. Everyone else has to run it through the channels. I'm glad you finally showed up in the thread. I wish you luck in the Thunder Dome.

It depends on the prospect and the situation.

For example, I was a prospect for maybe 1-2 days before I was a full fledge member. Maybe not even that long. But The clan was already established from previous MKs.

What did I have to do you ask?
I got my ass kicked by Thunder, Twzted, and Silent for a few hours. I might have won 2 or 3 matches.

Why would Thunder want someone in the clan that got his ass handed to him during his tryout?
Because I didn't bitch or complain once while getting my ass kicked. I didnt quit during a match, and Always said yes to a rematch. I asked questions about the game and try to apply them to those matches.

While I didnt know most of the combos and a good play style for Sub-zero, They still saw the potential, and I still gave them a hard time. So they let me in.

Then IT happened. The day the 88's almost died.

Thunder, Twzted, and I remember it well. The War with AU.
Some 88's didnt show up, Some 88's quit during there series, and some bitched.

Thunder and Twzted took on the entire AU clan that night. I was there as well. I only got a 2 or 3 series in before being called in early to work though.
So after I got home from work I heard about everything that went down.

I aplogized to Thunder again about having to leave. He was understanding though, and knows that work had to come before video games.

To make up for having to leave early, and to prove the 88's werent a bunch of bitches like most had shown the night before, I went on a mission and fought almost every member of AU on my own. Thunder told me I didnt have to because he knew I had gotton called in earely, but I still did it.I won matches but not any series. But i still kept fighting them.

That week I earned some respect from Thunder and AU.

After that War, Thunder,Twzted, and I cleaned house and a good majority of 88's got the boot.

Then we implented a tougher guideline to getting in the clan.

Now a majority of prospects go through many weeks of tryouts. We gotta see how mentally tough our prospects our. We have to see how the prospects are going to react to getting there ass kicked 0-10 or kicking someone elses ass 10-0.

I know you had to go through a really long prospect period, but there was a reason behind it. Just like Im sure Thunder had a good reason to move someone through the process quicker.

Anyway sorry for the long story, just a little and got carried away.

Remeber Thunder Dome 8/8 8pm Mountain time. Thunder, we gonna make this a double first to 8 series or what?

The way it works is Fub will host a first to 8 series then Mamba will Host a first to 8.

OK Mamba, look that word up. If a person like Bobby Blaze were to ask me to join the 88s, he would not just become a soldier, but he would become a lieutenant with no questions asked. Wiidoshi is one of those people that didn't have to prospect, didn't have to just be a soldier, he became a lieutenant as soon as he joined because he was a superb leader of one of the best online clans out there PWR. PWR wasn't a fly by night clan, they were battle proven buddy.

Some players are sooo bad ass, that I ask them to join us, even if they are already in other clans or not. Lucky for me, we were able to get FUB, W1n, and Detroit to join us. Speaking of another former leader, the boss bossy Bossette joined us. She was new to the scene but she rabidly started her own clan and was a professional with skills and behavior. Now that I think about it, the 88s have quite a few number of players that were former leaders of well established clans.

Then there's players that come in with a questionable reputation or with no reputation. Those players have to really be tested out.
